Anne, is that you?

Anne Hathaway debuted a shocking new blonde haircut at the 2013 Met Gala last night in New York. Going for a spiky ’80s-inspired ‘do, the Les Mis star seemed to embrace the ball’s “punk:chaos” theme.

“It’s temporary,” Anne told HuffPo about the platinum haircut. “But as soon as I did it, I thought I didn’t want it to be temporary any longer. I know I have to dye it back for my work.

“I don’t know that you could tell it by looking at me, but Debbie Harry was [my inspiration],” Anne told Vogue.com.

I kinda wish she could keep it — she totally rocks it!

Anne also wore a sheer black vintage 1992 Valentino gown with feathery wrist cuffs and flashed plenty of sideboob — but I’m still staring at her hair.
