Meteorologist Kristi Gordon was reading the weather for Canadian news outlet Global BC recently when she was thrown off by a sudden change in the forecast. What was looking to be a perfectly normal weather segment took a turn for the creepy when a huge spider appeared.

Luckily, the forecast wasn’t actually calling for a chance of giant mutant spiders. The illusion of a monster spider was created when a regular-sized spider crawled onto the camera, where it was projected onto the green screen behind Gordon.

Still, Gordon’s hilarious reaction wasn’t uncalled for. I would’ve freaked out too. Would you?
