Kristin Chenoweth Performs Anthony Weiner ‘Popular’ Parody on ‘Tonight Show’ (VIDEO)

Anthony Weiner is still pretty “Popular.”

On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Wicked actress Kristin Chenoweth performed a parody of the musical’s tune, making fun of the ever-sexting mayoral candidate.

Take a look at the video:

“May I suggest a makeover? I simply need to take over. You know, I know exactly what you need,” she sang. “Can’t you see it in my face? This is the toughest case I’ve yet to face. Don’t worry, Carlos Danger is no more. He’s out the door, and now, for sure, you will be popular. The right kind of popular.”

She continued: “I’ll teach you to zip your fly, you won’t be that guy, with a camera down his pants. I’ll teach you what tweets to tweet, something clean and sweet.”

Indeed, Weiner is the wrong kind of popular. Although he may be the most recognizable candidate in the race, a recent poll shows he’s dropped to fourth place.

But somehow, 78 percent of young women support Weiner. What’s wrong with you ladies? Perhaps young women don’t think sexting is that scandalous?
