Teen Boys Save Kidnapped 5-Year-Old Girl (VIDEO)
This is Temar Boggs, a 15-year-old boy from Gable Park Woods, Pa. When he and his friend Chris Garcia heard police were looking for a kidnapped girl — 5-year-old Jocelyn Rojas — in their neighborhood, they decided to help.
While searching the neighborhood on their bikes, the teenagers noticed a suspicious vehicle that appeared to be attempting to avoid police cruisers. They followed the car and were able to get close enough to notice Rojas in the passenger seat. When the driver, an older man by Boggs’ description, became aware he’d been spotted, he pushed Rojas out of the car and sped away.
“She runs to my arms and said, ‘I need to see my mommy,'” Boggs told a local news outlet.
The two boys worked together to bring Rojas home, with Boggs carrying her and Garcia pedaling alongside them, pulling Boggs’ bike beside him.
Rojas’ family has called Boggs a “guardian angel” for saving their little girl, who allegedly ended up in the kidnapper’s vehicle after he offered her ice cream.
Unfortunately, the kidnapper is still at large – but thanks to Boggs and Garcia, a tragedy was avoided and a little girl was reunited with her family.
“It was like fate, it was like meant for me and Chris to be there. If we wouldn’t have left [to look for her] who knows what would have happened to the little girl,” Boggs said.
