I have a shameful secret, my friends: I’m Canadian. OK, it’s actually not a shameful secret at all, but there it is.

The point is, I’ve never celebrated the Fourth of July and I honestly have no idea what you guys do to celebrate it, other than blow stuff up. Therefore, I can only assume you spend the pre-fireworks portion of the day eating corndogs, draping your bodies with American flags and watching the classic American film Independence Day. That’s definitely what I’d be doing.

But before you do that (or almost definitely don’t do that), you should watch this Honest Trailer for Independence Day created by Screen Junkies. Hey, just because the movie is basically the same as every other apocalypse movie ever doesn’t mean it’s not still great. I mean, it’s got Jeff Goldblum, for goodness’ sake.
