Yesterday, Posh Spice’s handsome husband, David Beckham, posted a Facebook photo of his wife hamming it up, with the caption, “I told you she smiles.”

Because, you see, Victoria Beckham is known for many things but smiling happily for the camera isn’t one of them. Even her hubs is aware of the reputation created by her awesome level stare. It drives people nuts.

Why? Why does it drive people crazy when a woman won’t smile prettily for the camera? Kristen Stewart is another celeb who’s constantly criticized for not flashing her teeth on request.

I, for one, am glad to see such a happy Posh pic — it’s a lovely shot — but she doesn’t have anything to prove with me. If she wants to smile, she can smile. And if she doesn’t want to smile, it’s her face.

I’m thinking Victoria could emblazon this anti-harassment poster, created by artist Tatayana Fazlalizadeh, on her next line of tops. It would look ultra-fierce paired with stilettos and her signature non-smile, no?
