Michael Shannon Manages to Be Creepy While Singing Bon Jovi (VIDEO)

Michael Shannon is creepy. Dude’s a great actor and I’m sure he’s a lovely person in real life but man does he ever have a creepitude to him. I don’t know if it’s his intense eyes or his voice or just his general manner of being, but he is one eerie fellow.

This quality has served him extremely well in his acting career, landing him roles playing disturbed characters on Boardwalk Empire and in Revolutionary Road — and, most recently, as villain General Zod in the upcoming Man of Steel movie. But it was on the red carpet promoting the latter film that Shannon proved he can make even the most mundane activity deeply unsettling.

Observe this video of Michael Shannon suddenly wresting a microphone from a reporter’s hands so he can sing a verse from Bon Jovi‘s “You Give Love a Bad Name,” all the while holding his trademark icy stare.
