102-Year-Old Badass Jumps Off Bridge for Her Birthday (VIDEO)

Dorothy Custer knows what it means to live life to the fullest. This 102-year-old thrill seeker celebrated her most recent birthday by BASE jumping off a bridge in Snake River Canyon, Idaho. Oh, and in case you’re not yet convinced of Dorothy’s awesomeness, when it was all over, she said she wished her 486-foot descent had lasted longer.

“I wish I could’ve floated around a little bit longer,” she said to ABC News. “I thought if I did break a leg, it doesn’t matter one way or another. I wasn’t scared at any time. I thought it was just a wonderful experience.”

What made Dorothy decide to do her first BASE jump at the ripe old age of 102? She’s not really sure.

“I’ve kind of asked myself that, too,” she told KMVT. “I guess probably because I don’t know any better.”

Maybe it’s because she’s not new to the world of death-defying stunts. No, Dorothy’s bridge jump wasn’t her first foray into total badassery. In fact, she celebrated the big 101 by ziplining across the same canyon.

Next year, she’s hoping to take it a bit easier – just a bit, though. She explained to ABC News she might like to try going up in a hot air balloon.
