Well, this doesn’t make us feel any better about Justin Bieber‘s recent antics. Yesterday Biebs Instagrammed a pic of himself standing next to Chris Brown, with Brown’s arm around him. That’s what your mom would call a bad influence, Justin!

It shouldn’t be that much of a surprise if they’re friends, considering they’ve worked together before — Bieber sang on Brown’s song “Next To You.” But that doesn’t mean we like it. Brown’s most infamous for his 2009 physical assault of on-off girlfriend Rihanna, but he’s also had beefs with everyone from artists like Frank Ocean to his neighbors. And we can’t imagine Bieber mentor Drake is thrilled about this development either.

Meanwhile Bieber’s having a bad year, between his monkey getting confiscated in Germany and drugs being found on his tour bus, to his recent outburst at the Billboard Music Awards. He needs a real BFF, not CB. Run away, Biebs!
