Beyonce is one hardworking lady, but even Queen Bey needs some R&R now and then. The singer cancelled her Antwerp show on Tuesday after her doctors recommended she relax after a bout with dehydration and exhaustion.

The star issued a handwritten apology to her Belgian fans and confirmed she’ll be hitting the stage on Wednesday.

“To my dearest fans in Antwerp, I’ve never postponed a show in my life,” she writes in her personal blog. “It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I’m sorry if I disappointed you.”

“Thank you for your concern,” she adds. “I’m feeling much better now and I’m ready to give you a great show. See you tonight.”

Her Tuesday absence fueled the rumor mill. Bey has been vocal about wanting a second child and baby bump watchers were working overtime during last week’s Met Gala. Some speculated she might be hiding a baby bump underneath her gorgeous Givenchy gown.

“I would like more children,” said Beyonce earlier this month. “I think my daughter needs company. I definitely love being a big sister and at some point when it’s supposed to happen. My biggest job in the world is to protect my daughter and I am very protective.”

Well, Beyonce’s second job as Sasha Fierce has her hitting 34 cities before the end of the Mrs. Carter tour. Perhaps we’ll be seeing a real-life baby bump once that winds down?
