Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Debut Their Wine and It’s Legit
It’s pretty obvious whatever Brangelina touches turns into solid gold. Case in point: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt debuted their wine online and the first 6,000 bottles sold out within five hours.
The wine is “very, very pretty” and has “varietals of Grenache” which make it “slightly acidic on the palate,” says fancy-wine taster Joe Bastianich. Um, whatever that means.
Apparently it means this wine is legit.
A bottle of the Hello Kitty colored rosé costs $23, which is slightly higher than an average-priced rosé.
The grapes were harvested on the Brangelina estate in southern France, so I’m guessing wine enthusiasts are paying for the possibility that the bottles were gently caressed by Angie’s fingertips or the grapes tenderly picked by Brad himself.
We can only dream, right?
The 2012 Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé will be available in restaurants this month.
Vanity Fair recommends drinking the Pitt-Jolie concoction while basking on the beaches of Eze, France or the balmy shores of Malibu.
Yeah, I’ll get right on that.
What’s next for the couple? Their very own caviar? A line of exquisite cheeses? Most likely. And it’ll probably taste like pure classiness, as is the Brangelina way.
