Miley Cyrus Is Done With Oversharing

Miley Cyrus is so done with oversharing, says the songstress in a new interview with Elle UK magazine.

The 20-year-old star says she’s given too much to her fans via social networking sites like Twitter, especially when it comes to details about her fiance Liam Hemsworth. Ya think?

“We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight – into my life and my puppies and my house – and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more,” said Cyrus. “Like on my Twitter, I’m much more … not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more.”

Say it ain’t so. I could look at photos of Cyrus’ puppy Bean forever, probably. But it looks like she’s done with talking about all things Hemsworth and her upcoming nuptials.

All this sounds very familiar: Cyrus vowed to take a social media break in early March, but she tweeted immediately after the announcement.

I think the desire to share is an innate part of being human, and tweeting about what you had for dinner or posting photos of your new hairdo is fun and harmless. I hope Cyrus doesn’t close herself off too much. We can never get enough puppy photos, right?
