Gwyneth Paltrow was voted world’s most beautiful woman by People magazine.

The actress, mom and new cookbook author was blown away by her title atop the list of genetically blessed celebrities.

“I honestly thought someone was playing a joke on me,” said Paltrow. “I had to reread the e-mail three times. I was like, ‘This can’t be true, I’ve developed dyslexia — I’m not reading this right.’ It’s a very iconic cover in American culture, so it’s just amazing.”

This is a 180 from her most recent title as Star magazine’s Most Hated Celebrity. I mean, she has long, flowing locks, a killer career, a handsome hubbie and two beautiful children. Her over-the-top cookbook with eye-popping ingredients and price tags along with her wicked body could bring out the green-eyed monster in the best of us.

Paltrow says she’s no glamor queen off the red carpet. “Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I don’t really wear makeup,” says Paltrow. This is something her husband and Coldplay musician Chris Martin can attest to.

“If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”

Yeah okay, you’re just like the rest of us. If we had access to a honey bee farm, cosmetic procedures and a bazillion dollars.

Other ladies to make the People list were Kerry Washington, Jane Fonda, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lawrence.
