Kai the Heroic Homeless Hitchhiker Gets the Autotune Treatment (VIDEO)

Internet Rule Number 58: All good and wonderful things must be immortalized forever in the form of an Autotuned song.

Kai, the homeless hitchhiker who saved a woman’s life from a deranged attacker and then gave a hilarious interview about it, is a good and wonderful thing — so it was only a matter of time before he got the Autotune treatment.

The Gregory Brothers — the masters of YouTube Autotuning – have delivered on Internet Rule Number 58, giving us a head-bopping, sweet rendition of the bizarre story. Kai, the nomad who hatcheted his way to Internet fame, lets us know that we’re all great in our own way and that everyone should be treated with respect.

Video is NSFW due to Kai’s colorful language.

For those of you who missed the original story, we first met Kai after he took down a 6-foot tall, 300-pound attacker in West Fresno with a hatchet he conveniently happened to have on him.

After Kai (who was hitchhiking) entered the man’s car, the man began ranting that he was Jesus Christ and claimed it was his mission to wipe all black people off the face of the planet. He then drove his car into a black worker on the street.

When two women ran up to help the injured worker, the unhinged man began attacking one of them — to which Kai responded by hitting the man with his hatchet. If it wasn’t for Kai’s quick thinking and hatchet-wielding skills, another person might’ve been sent to the hospital.

So, for his part in taking down a crazed person, The Gregory Brothers present him with their smash hit: “smash, Smash, SMASH!”

May he live forever on the Interwebs.
