Starting today, aspiring Covergirls have their shot at being the next face of the brand. If you’re interested and you think you have what it takes to be the face of one of the biggest makeup brands out there, you can enter the contest on Ellen DeGeneres’ website.

But, it won’t be easy.

If you thought all you have to do is be easy, breezy and beautiful, you’re sorely mistaken. According to the contest site, a true Covergirl “embodies strength, beauty and an independent spirit.” After all, this search for the next Covergirl was inspired by Talia Castellano, the 13-year-old cancer patient who became an honorary Covergirl last year. Obviously she set the bar pretty high.

But if you still think you have what it takes, the reward is worth it. Not only will the winner get to tell all her friends she’s joined the ranks of Drew Barrymore, Queen Latifah and (of course) Ellen DeGeneres as a real Covergirl, she’ll also receive a Covergirl photo shoot, an ad in People magazine and $20,000. Pretty sweet deal, yeah?
