The Crafty Origami Condom Is Making Sex Even Sexier (VIDEO)

Don’t browse Etsy or Pottery Barn to find the best handmade crafts — just stop by the Origami Condom office. Yes, you heard correctly: Origami Condom.

It’s 2013 and condoms have gotten crafty.

Since 1920, latex condoms have dominated the condom market. But no longer! Designers Daniel Resnic and Ray Chavez have been experimenting with a sexier condom prototype. They’re still working on the design, but Origami Condom promises sex will feel au naturel with its new silicone material.

Silicone feels better and is more effective at blocking viruses and bacteria. The next-generation condom has external ridges and internal lubrication for that next-level sexytimes experience. Bonus for the ladies: It can also double as a sex toy since the ridges enhance sensation.

The traditional rolled condom won’t know what hit it. Origami’s non-rolled design makes it a cinch to pull on in 2.8 seconds flat. The designers are also hard at work on a a female condom, an oral sex shield and an anal sex condom.

So perhaps by 2014, you’ll be doing a little more crafting than usual.
