Justin Bieber knows all too well the pitfalls of being a celebrity. I don’t think the guy can do anything in public without being hounded by paparazzi.
Sadly, this fact became a tragic one after a photographer was hit by an SUV while trying to snap pics of the pop star.
Justin has since released a statement about the tragic death, but another pop star by the name of Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus stepped up to defend the Biebs and to wag a finger at photogs. She even goes so far as to bring up the death of Princess Diana.
Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in ’13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn’t Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!

to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices.

TMZ has identified the photographer as 29-year-old Chris Guerra. Guerra approached Justin’s Ferrari to snap photos of the singer while the car was pulled over for a routine traffic stop. Although the car belongs to Justin, he wasn’t in the vehicle at the time — the car was occupied by Lil Twist and an unidentified person. Police said they asked Guerra to return to his vehicle. He was struck by an SUV on his way back to his car.
Justin sent his prayers and thoughts to Guerra’s family, and hopes another tragedy can be avoided.
“Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves,” he said.
His well-worded statement (probably written by a PR specialist) is a lot more eloquent than Miley’s tweets.
Do you think Miley is the right to blame the photog’s death on the paparazzi industry, or did she go too far?
