Barack Obama Wants Mohawk Like the NASA Guy’s

Thanks to Twitter user @darth, we now know what that would look like.

When the world was first introduced to Bobak Ferdowsi and his adorable Mohawk, we instantly fell in love with both. It turns out that us regular folk weren’t the only ones diggin’ the ‘hawk – President Obama is also a fan.

Today, the POTUS called up NASA to talk Curiosity, martians, and mohawks. While his main aim was to congratulate NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory employees on their hard work in guiding the Curiosity rover to the surface of Mars last week, Obama characteristically kept things lighthearted.

“If in fact you do make contact with Martians, please let me know right away,” he implored. “I’ve got a lot of other things on my plate, but I suspect that that will go to the top of the list.”

He also mentioned Bobak’s now-famous hairstyle and explained that he was considering rocking a ‘hawk himself.

“I, in the past, thought about getting a mohawk myself, but my team keeps on discouraging me,” said the Prez to NASA’s scientists. “And now that [Bobak has] received marriage proposals and thousands of new Twitter followers, I think that I’m going to go back to my team and see if it makes sense.”

We’d like to extend our own congratulations to the NASA team, and strongly encourage the President to seriously consider upgrading his hairstyle. For freedom.
