Charlie Sheen Drops Homophobic Slur, Least Believable Apology Ever

Charlie Sheen is at it again. No, not banging seven-gram rocks (probably) — saying foolish things in front of large crowds. Can someone remind me why this guy is even famous again?

The Daily Mail reports Sheen was hosting a gig at Epic nightclub in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend when he decided to make a (horribly) memorable introduction. Unfortunately for him, it was immortalized on film for the whole Internet to see.

“How we doing?,” Sheen asked the partygoers, which included Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. “Lying bunch of faggot assholes, how we doing?”

Well, that’s one way to win over a crowd.

When confronted by TMZ about his strange outburst, Sheen offered this gem of an apology:

“I meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone. I meant to say ‘maggot’ but I have a lisp.”

I’ve seen some awful canned apologies before, but that one definitely takes the cake. I’ll have to remember that next time I let it slip that I think Charlie Sheen is a washed up, pathetic excuse for an actor. No, it’s okay, you just misheard me because of my lisp.
