Cute Alert: News Anchor Proposes on Live TV (VIDEO)
There are many ways a guy can pull off a public proposal, and we’ve written about a few of them here at Twirlit. Some, like the one where a dude popped the question using a creative and fun lip-dub, are downright adorable. Others, like the one where a guy pulled a horrifying stunt to convince his girlfriend he was dead, are rather disturbing. This public proposal, which happened on live TV, belongs in the former category.
News anchor Mark Rivera started his morning on WAND-TV with a very special segment, in which he brought his girlfriend and State Journal reporter Alissa Groeninger onto the show. She thought they would be doing a segment on The Voice, but to her surprise, he popped the question on live TV.
“… but really I only have one question to ask you and it’s the most important question I’ve ever asked anyone in my whole life,” said Rivera. To Groeninger’s disbelief, he got down on one knee.
“Will you marry me?”
Before Rivera even had time to open the ring case, his soon-to-be wife said yes!
Congratulations to the happy couple. Thanks for making our day that much cuter.
