More Harry Potter Books to Come?

J.K Rowlings, author of the beloved Harry Potter series, isn’t saying no to the possibility of another Harry Potter novel. This would be happy news for the millions of fans of the boy wizard series.

The series got kids (and adults–admit it) to fall back in love with the written word. With the popularity of Harry Potter, money isn’t an issue for Rowlings, so will she bring us back into the world of wizardry and enchantment?

“Harry Potter truly liberated me in the sense that there’s only one reason to write, for me — if I genuinely have something I want to say, and I want to publish it,” Rowlings said in an interview with BBC. “Now if I had a fabulous idea that came out of that world — because I loved writing it — I’d do it.”

Critics and fans are hoping that this includes a Harry Potter continuation. Rowlings will soon reveal her newest novel The Casual Vacancy. Since her publishers have made the unusual move of not allowing advance reviews, it’s unsure if her newest creation will be a hit or miss. It’s doubtful that Casual Vacancy will receive the same fanfare as Harry Potter, but there’s still a lot of hype around it.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if we can once again enter the world of Hogwarts.
