Channing Tatum visits the Today show and talks about his upcoming flick Magic Mike. Ladies, he’s just a poor dancer trying to make ends meet.

Before the flash mob erupts, Tatum talks briefly about his own experience stripping at the age of 18. ”Man, it was a crazy time in my life,” he tells Ann Curry. “I’m not ashamed of it, but I don’t know if I’m… not proud of it. It was definitely a crazy part of my life, and I survived it.”

Channing’s dad was totally in the dark until he saw his son gave Ellen DeGeneres a lap dance. Surprise, Dad!

“They never knew,” he tells Al Roker. “I never told them. I was like, ‘Ah, you know, I’m just working at this other job over here, over there.’ But my dad ended up having to find out when I did (‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’). I gave Ellen a lap dance.”
