DWTS: The Final Three are Chosen!

Tuesday night marked the elimination of the fourth last dancing duo on Dancing with the Stars–leaving three couples remaining! So who was it? With the drama surrounding Katherine Jenkinsback injury, viewers were on the edge of their seats, fingers crossed for their favorite dancers.

Would “Katherine the Great” have to leave her dancing shoes on the shelf from henceforth? Ultimately, Jenkins was saved from the chopping block and jumped for joy when the results were announced last night. “I’m no doctor but her back looks better now,” joked Bergeron.

That left the remaining three contestants and their pro dance teachers: William Levy and Cheryl Burke, Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, and Maria Menounos and Derek Hough.

Sadly, one couple had to go and even with her second perfect score on the show, Maria Menounos was sent packing. The Extra host appeared misty-eyed, but quickly recovered herself. “I learned so many things,” Menounos said later. “I learned how strong I was. I learned to persevere.” She had suffered several injuries throughout the show’s duration, which included broken ribs and a hurt foot. It ain’t easy bustin’ a move on DWTS.

Her dance partner and teacher, Derek Hough couldn’t hide his adoration for his dance ingenue: “I’ve loved, loved, loved dancing with this woman!” No doubt, Menounos is a powerhouse of a performer, but someone had to go. Now three contestants remain.

Who do you think will be the next to go? Did the voting audience make the right choice?
