Snooki Gets Sued For $7 Million

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has been hit with a lawsuit bigger than her tolerance for alcohol and spray-tan. According to the New York Post, Snooki has been accused of sabotaging a merchandising deal with a licensing company and the claimants want $7 million is damages.

SRG Ventures claims that Snooki destroyed a potential deal between the two parties and negotiated with other companies behind its back. The company seeks $7 million in damages. Earlier this year, Snooki sued SRG Ventures, claiming that the company had failed to live up to its end of a contract they had signed with her.

The original plan was to use Snooki’s name and likeness to market Snooki-branded merchandise, including sunglasses, swimwear and sportswear. None of these products have hit the market yet and now it appears that they probably won’t at any point.

Snooki isn’t the first Jersey Shore cast member to become embroiled in a lawsuit. Previously, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino filed a $4 million claim against Abercrombie and Fitch.
